What do you think? I admit that I’m an old skool clinch cover fan, but maybe guy-only covers appeal to more readers. I’m really glad that Noah kept his shirt on. Not that he doesn’t look great without it! But I know that would violate the Chula Vista PD dress code. I learned that when I went on a ride-along with the gang unit. : )
Here’s the blurb:
In a sultry California city on the Mexican border, a brutal crime pushes a struggling young mother and an idealistic cop to the edge of passion—and beyond.
To support her small daughter, April Ortiz does what she has to do—waiting tables in a skimpy outfit at a popular nightclub in a gang-infested area of Chula Vista. When one of her co-workers is raped and murdered, April does what she knows she shouldn’t—defying the neighborhood code by giving the police a hardcore gang member’s name.
Clean-cut cop Noah Young wants a shot at breaking this case more than anything in the world—that is, until he meets the unforgettable April Ortiz. When April gives Noah the tip, a spark ignites. As the fire between them threatens to blaze out of control, the two are dragged down further into the dark mysteries of the graffiti-lined streets, taunted by a crazed killer who could strike again at any time.
Both the blurb and cover might undergo some minor changes, so these aren’t “official.” THE EDGE OF NIGHT releases March 22, 2011.
Me likey! I’d rather see a couple on the front, but a lone male is the next best. =)

I love this cover. It feels full of mystery and possibility. I think it’s excellent! On a gut level, it feels really attractive, tho I can’t say how exactly.
I like it! And the book sounds great, too
(And am I really that old that I immediately think of the old soap, Edge of Night? Which I loved, BTW)

Your name is huge – awesome! I like the colors and the guy. He reminds me of the one doctor on Grey’s Anatomy. Also love that it doesn’t look like every other romantic suspense book out there. Yay!
Thanks for all the cover love!
Ragan, I also prefer a sexy clinch but I’m happy that this one gives off good vibes.
Ooh, Carolyn, I like your take on it. Full of possibilities!
Lori, several people mentioned the soap, including my editor, but she said it brought back good memories or something. I’ve never seen it. I remember Dark Shadows though–a daytime soap w/ vamps? LOL
Can’t wait for you to pimp me Katie.
Thanks HelenKay. McDreamy or McSteamy? LOL
Nice cover! Can’t wait to read this one. I already have it on pre-order.
