Beach Days
I took my girls to the beach at Oceanside Harbor yesterday. I wasn’t expecting the weather to be so nice! For some reason I thought it would be cool and overcast (May gray). Wish I’d brought the swimsuits. Sandy good fun was had by all.
My older daughter didn’t let the lack of swimwear keep her from splashing in the surf, later that afternoon. She had to wear a towel to the ice cream shop.
On days like these, I feel so lucky to be a stay at home mom. Trying to juggle writing and kids can be stressful, but it’s worth the effort. And both jobs are a labor of love, for sure.
